Livity Sound have announced a release date for their latest compilation, put together to mark the revered Bristol-based label's tenth birthday.

Due for release on 24 September and available to pre-order now via BandcampMolton Mirrors features music from the imprint's strong roster of artists, including Hodge, Bruce, Batu and more.

The 18-track compilation also includes input from Peverelist & Kowton, with their track 'Exhale' accessible instantly as part of the pre-order package.

Established and developed in Bristol, Livity Sound has sat firmly at the forefront of the city's world-renowned electronic music scene since its inception in the early 2010s.

Label boss and renowned DJ & Producer Peverelist has managed to keep Livity Sound at the cutting edge of UK techno for the best-part of a decade, dropping hard-hitting releases from the likes of Hodge, Batu and Simo Cell among others.

The label have been hard at work in recent years, too, with 13 projects released under the Livity imprint since the turn of 2020.

Speaking to Mixmag, the team said: “Molten Mirrors captures the dynamic energy of Livity Sound at 10, with 19 artists from the label’s roster coming together to present an honest document of where the label is at in the present moment.

“No over-arching concepts, no hackneyed themes – true to Livity’s open-ended mode since 2011, it’s as much a declaration of community as a cross-section of experimental dance music in 2021.”

Across 18 tracks, Molton Mirrors will showcase music from Azu Tiwaline, Forest Drive West, Batu, Two Shell, Al Wootton, DJ Plead, Bakongo, Cando, Facta, Pev & Kowton, Simo Cell, Hodge, Bruce, Kouslin, Jurango, Toma Kami, Ido Plumes and Surgeons.
