Dita Von Teese to close 2022 UK tour at Bristol Hippodrome

The international Burlesque icon is bringing her rescheduled tour to Bristol.

Celebrated performer Dita Von Teese will take to the stage for one night only at Bristol Hippodrome with her all-new revue: Glamonatrix, on the last leg of her 14 date tour of the UK.

Following her previous tour in 2018, 'The Art of the Teese' - the most successful burlesque tour of all time - Von Teese's latest effort, containing all new production numbers, promises to be her biggest yet.

'Glamonatrix' will come through Bristol on March 24 2022. Tickets are on sale now and can be found here.

In a statement, Von Teese said: "being in these historic theaters with audiences coming dressed to the nines, creates this incredible atmosphere, unlike anything I’ve ever seen before."

Taking the audience on a visual journey, Von Teese has put together an evening of comedy and sophisticated strip tease celebrating diverse beauty.

She said: “with the success of my last tour of Europe, I came home more inspired than ever and got straight into building new acts. I am coming back with an even bigger show than I’ve ever toured with before."

"For me, burlesque has always been about finding my own power and confidence, embracing sensuality, and encouraging others to do the same in their own lives. Glamour is the art of creating mystery and allure, and the new “Glamonatrix” show embraces all of these qualities.”

The Michigan-born burlesque dancer is considered responsible for its renaissance in recent years, earning her the title 'queen of burlesque'.

Von Teese, alongside repopularising burlesque, has modernised the genre, celebrating both the male and female form in a body-positive way.
