Enjoy a delicious, authentic Indian feast in BS5.

Eat-in dining, we've missed you. For well over a year we've been unable to enjoy a visit to our favourite independent restaurants, and it looks like now, finally, we're returning to business as usual across Bristol and beyond.

But what about those of you who don't like sitting indoors? What if, after weeks and months of grey skies, you fancy a meal in the sunshine?

Fear not - Thali, one of Bristol's best-loved independent Indian restaurants, have this week opened a brand-new outdoor dining area, allowing you to enjoy the very best of their brilliant menu while basking in blue skies.

Having started life as a food truck at Glastonbury Festival, Thali has blossomed into a staple of Bristol foodie landscape, capturing the atmosphere, attitude and spirit of India and offering a unique interpretation of its cuisine.

From the back streets of Bombay to the beach shacks of Goa, Thali's concise menu showcases a diverse selection of traditional and contemporary dishes sourced from across the subcontinent.

The team operate on strict sustainability criteria, exclusively using locally-sourced and free-range produce, recycling as much of their waste as possible and completely eliminating palm oil from their menu.

With locations in Easton and Montpelier, Thali became the UK's first Indian restaurant group to be named as a Three Star Sustainability Champion by the Sustainable Restaurant Association in 2013.

Bookings for their brand-new outdoor seating area - as well as tables inside after last week's nationwide hospitality reopening - can be made via the Thali website.

Alternatively, if you're looking to order in this weekend, Thali is available for collection or delivery via the BARBI App, an independent delivery platform built by Bristol hospitality, for Bristol Hospitality. Find out more and download the app here
