Bristol Craft Beer Festival 2021 officially rescheduled

Bristol Craft Beer Festival 2021 officially rescheduled

Posted on: 27 May 2021

The festival, due to take place in June, has been hit by last-minute restrictions.

Organisers of the annual Bristol Craft Beer Festival have announced the postponement of their 2021 event, now set to take place from Friday 30 July - Sunday 1 August.

Initially scheduled for mid-June at the open-air Lloyds Amphitheatre, the festival was reportedly given extra operating conditions at the last minute, leaving the team unable to deliver the event in full on the original dates.

Tickets purchased for the June festival are still valid for the rescheduled dates, with refund options available and a limited number of tickets expected to go back on sale in the coming weeks.

Announcing the rescheduling this week, the Bristol Craft Beer Festival team said:

"Sadly we’ve had some disappointing news from Bristol City Council and are having to postpone the Bristol Craft Beer Festival until 30th July - 1st August 2021 with the same session times and same location.

"We have tried to move heaven and earth, working with Bristol City Council to find a path over the last few days. The council have been incredibly helpful but sadly with the festival so close we’ve had to make a firm decision in the interest of all involved.

"We know this will be disappointing to some, we’re in that boat too. We can only thank you for your patience and loyalty as we continue to navigate through what we all hope will be the final hurdles of the COVID-19 pandemic."

The organisers went on to explain that the venue and full festival programme will remain unchanged, with a diverse selection of craft beer and ciders, delicious food from local vendors and vibrant musical lineup confirmed to attend.

Alongside some of Bristol's best-loved independent breweries - think Moor Beer, Wild Beer Co, Left Handed Giant and more - will be a lineup of revered and award-winning brewers from across the UK and around the world.

Craft beer and cider from Bristol and beyond will be accompanied by a stellar culinary offering, featuring the likes of Asado, Popti & Beast and Jinkoni East Africa.

Those who have already booked their place at the 2021 Bristol Craft Beer Festival are advised that tickets will automatically be transferred to the new dates (30 July, 31 July, 1 August).
