Lakota to take over secret location for huge comeback party this summer

Posted on: 05 Mar 2021

The venue team are yet to unveil the secret location for their first full-scale event in over a year.

Lakota have officially confirmed a date for Summer of Love, a huge comeback party set to take place in a special secret location on Saturday 26 June.

Having been closed for much of the last 12 months, and restricted to socially-distanced events between lockdowns, Lakota have set to work on one of their biggest-ever events to celebrate the return of the rave.

Scheduled for the first Saturday that 'proper' parties can take place post-lockdown in line with government guidance, Summer of Love will pay tribute to an iconic era of UK dance music, featuring a selection of special guests and Lakota resident DJs.

With the secret location set to be kept under wraps until the day of the party, Summer of Love will be a nod to the infamous warehouse raves of the past, with a musical lineup spanning everything from house and techno to D&B, garage, disco and more.

Having spent the best part of a year indoors, party-goers all over Bristol and beyond will be desperate to kick off summer 2021 with a band, and where better to do that than in the company of one of the city's most iconic clubs?

Tickets are officially on sale now but are moving fast, with the first tier having sold out in less than a day. You can book your spot at the Summer of Love on second release for £28.25 (incl. booking fee), and secure a return shuttle bus ticket for an additional £5.

After an incredibly difficult year for Lakota and the rest of Bristol's nightlife scene, it's vital that we all do what to support local venues when things eventually return to normal.
