The Burger Joint to trial new collection and delivery service this weekend

Posted on: 03 Nov 2020

The owners are hoping to be able to keep both of their kitchens open during lockdown.

The Burger Joint have announced plans to trial a new collection and delivery service this week, keeping both of their Bristol locations open in an effort to continue supporting staff ahead of another difficult period.

From Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November, The Burger Joint will be taking orders at their Whiteladies Road and North Street branches to determine whether or not it will be viable to remain open at full capacity through lockdown.

Orders can be made for collection over the phone (0117 329 0887 for Whiteladies Road or 0117 329 2790 for North Street) or online via the Burger Joint website.

Releasing a statement across their social media channels yesterday (Monday 2 November), the team said: "We were hoping we wouldn't ever have to write again to inform everyone of our enforced closure.

"However, unfortunately, from 10pm on Wednesday, both restaurants will sadly be closing their doors to dine-in customers until 2nd December at the earliest.

"This time we are going to try and stay open at both sites and see how we get on offering an exclusive delivery and takeaway trade.

So if you want us to stay open during this lockdown, please do try and order from us if you can over the next week."

Opened in 2009, The Burger Joint has become one of Bristol's best-loved spots for delicious, quality burgers, known for its unique Build-a-Burger ordering system.

Their extensive menu is packed full of decadent beef burgers, succulent chicken burgers and tasty veggie and vegan options, with an endless list of potential flavour combinations and a wide range of sides available.

To browse their full menu, or to order for collection or delivery from either of their two Bristol locations, head to the Burger Joint website or find them on Deliveroo.
