Bristol's Card Shack launch Christmas North Pole delivery service

Posted on: 30 Oct 2020

Give your kids a letter direct from the office of Santa Claus this Christmas!

Independent Bristol-based store Card Shack have launched a unique festive gift idea ahead of the Christmas season, offering kids the chance to receive personalised letters from the big man himself.

Their North Pole Delivery package includes a luxury kraft packed letter with a short poem responding to your kids' letters to Santa, as well as a gold certificate to show they're on Santa's Nice List this year.

Online orders, priced at £4 each, will be sent first-class, with 50p from each sale to be donated to Broomhill Infant School as they look to raise funds for a new playground.

Opened in November 2018, Card Shack has been supplying locals with memorable and heartfelt cards and gifts for almost two years. Proudly independent, store owner Michelle Kingscott ensures her stock comes from local artists and producers wherever possible.

Speaking to 365Bristol.com back in July, Michelle explained that while other parts of the city are renowned for stocking and supporting local work, there was a lack of representation of Bristol-made products in the city centre during her first few months of opening.

“People used to come in and ask me for work from Bristol artists, which is something we never stocked,” she said. “I knew that a lot of it was up Gloucester Road, and not in town. So, I thought I’d bring it here.”

Having been forced to close in March due to the coronavirus outbreak, Card Shack set up an online store this summer, and are now back in business at The Arcade, open seven days a week.
