Bristol Bears' 2020/21 Gallagher Premiership fixture list revealed

Get the lowdown as Pat Lam's side prepare for the start of a new campaign.

 

A full fixture list has been revealed for the 2020/21 Gallagher Premiership season, with the first round of fixtures on hold until late November after the coronavirus pandemic delayed the final matches of the current campaign.

 

Bristol Bears, who will be expecting to challenge at the top of the table in 2020/21, are set to get underway with a trip to the Ricoh Arena to face Wasps on Sunday 22 November.

 

At the time of writing, no clear guidance has been offered regarding the safe return of supporters to Premiership Rugby grounds, so the first few rounds of matches are expected to be played behind closed doors.

 

 

With a strong sense of optimism around the club following the introduction of some strong new signings and the opening of their brand-new, world-class training facility, Bears fans have reason to be excited about the upcoming season.

 

The side will be hoping for a strong start, as they come up against some of the league's top sides in their opening run of fixtures.

 

Following their opener at Wasps, the Bears will welcome Worcester Warriors (Saturday 28 November) and Northampton Saints (Friday 4 December) to Ashton Gate Stadium in back-to-back home matches.

 

Pat Lam's side will then travel to Twickenham to take on Harlequins on Boxing Day before hosting Premiership newcomers Newcastle Falcons on New Year's Day.

 

Fixtures against the Wasps, Saints, Harlequins and Exeter Chiefs (Saturday 9 January) will be shown live on BT Sport.

Bristol Bears 2020/21 Season Cards have officially gone on general sale, with a limited number of seats available for the upcoming Gallagher Premiership season.

 

Due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus crisis, and a lack of clarity regarding attendance allowances, the club have taken the decision to release a limited batch of 7,000 Season Cards initially.

 

With the new season looming, Bristol Bears are working with Premiership Rugby and DCMS to ensure supporters are able to return to the stadium as soon as it's safe to do so. Find out more and browse Season Card packages here.
