More sessions added to Bristol Craft Beer Festival 2020

Posted on: 06 Aug 2020

The festival's fifth edition will span three full days in September.

Organisers of the Bristol Craft Beer Festival have officially extended this year's programme, adding a 'Sunday Funday' session, plus a new daytime session on the Friday, spreading the festival across three days for the first time in its five-year history.

Originally due to take place in June before the coronavirus outbreak forced a postponement, this year's festival was recently confirmed to be going ahead following a brief period of uncertainty.

Tickets for the 2020 Bristol Craft Beer Festival, now running from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September at the Lloyds Amphitheatre, are on sale now and can be found here.

Bringing together some of the region's top brewers and producers, the Bristol Craft Beer Festival celebrates a wide range of independent breweries and invites the public to taste the very best beer they've got to offer.

Not only will the 2020 Bristol Craft Beer Festival celebrate some of the top breweries and producers in the South West, it will also welcome popular national and international brands like Leeds' Northern Monk and To Øl from Denmark.

Local breweries confirmed on this year's lineup so far include Wild Beer Co, Bristol Beer Factory, Moor Beer and Wiper & True.

There will, of course, also be a range of top-notch food on offer, with local outlets Two Belly, Asado and Eatchu setting up throughout the weekend.

Entertainment will be provided in the form of a lineup of local live music and DJs, and names are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

With safety a number one priority, a number of measures will be introduced at this year's festival to minimise risk to attendees, staff and exhibitors.

As well as increased PPE for bar staff and installation of perspex screens in serving areas, one-way queuing systems will be implemented and attendees will be required to register to a track and trace programme upon entry.

The whole site will be subject to rigorous cleaning and sanitising between sessions, including bar areas, seating and other surfaces.

A range of tickets are available, from day sessions to evening passes, the 'Sunday Funday' session and the full weekend Beer Geek pass.

The Saturday Social daytime session has officially sold out, but tickets are available for Friday daytime and night, Saturday night, and Sunday daytime.

If, for any reason, circumstances change and the 2020 Bristol Craft Beer Festival is no longer able to go ahead, tickets will automatically be rolled over to a 2021 or 2022 edition.
