Flour & Ash is closing for good: support the pizzeria during its final week

An award-winning pizza restaurant in Bristol is closing.
Flour & Ash has been operating a takeaway service for the past eight weeks but will close for good following its final service this Saturday.
The popular pizzeria on Cheltenham Road is closing due to COVID-19, and the impact the outbreak has had on the business.
Sharing a report by Bristol Live, the Flour & Ash team said:
"All things must eventually end and this is our time. Dont be too sad Bristol, we have had a blast. We would love to sell out this week. Pizza, booze, Italian deli goods, it's all gotta go."
Since opening in 2014, Flour & Ash has garnered a loyal following with its Neapolitan style pizza and homemade ice cream.
Even the Observer's restaurant critic, Jay Rayner, popped in for a meal back in 2015.
The verdict? "If there was a degree in the science of making perfect pizza, the boffins at this Bristol restaurant would ace it."
Want to help Flour & Ash go out on a high? You've gotta place an order (or ten) this week. Flour & Ash will be open from 17:00, Wednesday to Saturday for takeaway orders only.
The easiest way to get your hands on some Flour & Ash goodness is to pre-order via the website.
The restaurant's click and collect system will open tomorrow morning at 11:00 (Wednesday 29 July) for orders. It's easy: just select what you'd like, then pick a day and a time slot to collect.
Alternatively, give Flour & Ash a call on the night of your choice and place an order for takeaway.
Flour & Ash is also heavily discounting soft drinks, booze and Italian deli goods to get rid of its stock: "It's all gotta go folks so bring a bag and grab a bargain," the website says.
Following the announcement, fellow restaurateurs and local foodies took to social media to celebrate Flour & Ash:
I remember when We first moved to Bristol. We had absolutely fuck all.

When I told Steve from @flourandash that i was a cook and wanted my own restaurant,he took me seriously and gave me incredible words of encouragement and wisdom. He’s always supported us and been there-
What??? No! You guys were the place we got our dinner the night I proposed. We love you guys. This is really sad.

Absolutely gutted for the owners and staff at Flour and Ash. Loved that place and their polenta fries will always have a special place in my heart. ???? https://t.co/OEOdg0rIf3
