Complete with six lanes, a bar and pizza oven, Whistle Punks opened its Bristol venue in 2019. Prior to the lockdown, local sourdough pizza chain, Pizzarova, had a pop-up inside the venue.
So, what happens inside Whistle Punks? With the help of the venue’s instructors, visitors have a go at slinging axes at targets to a pumping soundtrack.
Players can compete against their mates, thanks to the venue's points-based system.
After a temporary closure, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the venue is now taking bookings ahead of its reopening date.
In preparation for their return, the Whistle Punks team have posted information on how they will implement social distancing measures inside the Bristol venue.
For now, Whistle Punks will not accept walk-in players. Anyone who wants to have a go at throwing axes will have to pre-book a session online.
Inside the venue, Whistle Punks will place hand sanitising stations throughout, deep clean each axe, and staff will wear visors.
Check out the venue’s full list of measures, and book a session, over on the Whistle Punks website: whistlepunks.com.
