Three local, independent businesses with a cocktail delivery service

How to get your hands on a great cocktail while cocktail bars are closed.

You don’t know what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone: oh, to be sipping a classic cocktail in a Bristol bar or restaurant.

For now, we’ll have to get used to life without a trip to the cocktail bar. But that doesn’t mean the cocktail bar can’t come to you.

Yep, several local businesses have launched cocktail delivery and takeaway services – woohoo! (Or Woo Woo.)

Here’s a quick list of three bars and businesses who will deliver cocktails to your door amid lockdown.

Flipside

Cocktails in a pouch? We promise it’s more sophisticated than it sounds.

Whiteladies’ premier cocktail club, Flipside, has recently launched a brand-new cocktail delivery service, and it’s proved a hit.

For the past couple of weeks, the bar has sold out of its weekly delivery slots, and with good reason.

With Flipside’s new ‘Cocktail 2 You’ service, fans of the bar can enjoy Flipside classics at home, with the help of nifty cocktail pouches.

Arriving complete with a bag of ice and garnishes, Flipside’s cocktail pouches allow you to serve hand-mixed cocktails straight up.

That’s right: each pouch contains a hand-mixed cocktail, safely prepared by a Flipside bartender.

A Flipside cocktail box costs £30 and contains six cocktails of your choice. Select cocktails from Flipside’s dedicated Cocktails 2 You menu.

To place an order for delivery on Friday (the perfect introduction to any weekend, right?!), visit the website, or email webringcocktails2you@gmail.com.

The Cloak & Dagger

Cheltenham Road’s quirky café, restaurant and events space, The Cloak & Dagger, are not only delivering cocktails, but they’re making them for takeaway too.

Every weekend, the Cloak & Dagger will be open to serve up freshly mixed cocktails to passersby for £7.50 a pop.

Discover the venue’s cocktail menu on their dedicated Facebook page, or head over the website to find out more.
