Gallery Du 808 opens applications for AW20 exhibition season

There are a limited number of spaces remaining for Bristol artists to showcase their work at The Arcade's dedicated art gallery. 

 

Situated inside The Arcade, the city centre's historic shopping quarter, Gallery du 808 has been showcasing Bristol art has to offer since 2018.

 

The gallery is, of course, closed for now during the ongoing coronavirus crisis, but it's now taking bookings for the Autumn/Winter 2020 season, allowing local artists and creators to display their work in front a growing audience of collectors and shoppers.

 

 

A proudly independent art space, Gallery du 808 take pride in understanding the artists they work with, and treat their work with the same level of care, attention and respect that goes into each piece of work.

 

The gallery team have deliberately set up the space to be warm and inviting, creating a friendly-yet-cultured atmosphere.

 

"We want to create an art gallery that is both sophisticated and welcoming," a Gallery du 808 spokesperson said.

 

With spaces moving fast, Gallery du 808 are now taking bookings for artists to exhibit during the Autumn/Winter 2020 season.

 

Dates in September, October, November and December are available, with the Christmas season running up until 23 December.

 

There are a wide range of benefits that come with an exhibition booking with Gallery du 808, including 100% artist commission, full-time staff on hand to sell and negotiate prices with customers on behalf of the artist during exhibitions, and an artist profile set up on the gallery's website.
