Founded in the 1920s, Hobbs House has become one of the South West’s most revered bakeries.
A family-run affair, Hobbs House specialise in creating real sourdough, and have stores right across the area. There's one right here in Bristol, on Gloucester Road.
Right now, Arthur David's online market is stocking Hobbs House’s sought-after baked goods, including their Light Rye Sourdough, fresh Tiger Bread and fluffy Rolls.

Inside a Hobbs House Bakery store
So, now you’ve got your bread, and had a browse through Arthur David’s huge selection of groceries: what else is on offer?
Well, at the moment, Arthur David is offering next day delivery (Tuesday to Saturday) to all BS and BA postcodes.
That means if you live in Bristol, and you place an order before 14:00 Monday to Friday, you’ll get your items the very next day.
It’s easy to place an order too. To order, all you need to do is register with Arthur David using the online registration form.
After that, you’ll be able to log in to your account and place an order. Alternatively, you can place an order over the phone: 0330 3334 441.
Arthur David pride themselves on their commitment to quality customer service - the company’s joint Managing Director even has the company’s mantra ‘Leave it with us’ tattooed on his arm!
