Mrs Potts Chocolate House closed both its Bristol and Bath stores over seven weeks ago when the government introduced tightened lockdown measures.

But during the lockdown, the ever-popular chocolate café chain has been doing its bit to support the local community.

The dessert café recently offered its prime Park Street window space to a local artist, who is now displaying her lockdown artwork at the site.

The Mrs Potts team have also provided care packages to frontline NHS workers. Now the Mrs Potts team need you.

“We are trying our best to balance our staff and customer’s safety along with our businesses viability,” the team have said.

“Operating a takeaway/delivery service helps us claw back some of our losses but not all.”

Upon their reopening, Mrs Potts will operate with strict social distancing measures.

They will accept card payments only and operate one in, one out system. Staff will wear gloves, provide hand sanitizer for customers and regularly disinfect the store.

Director of Mrs Potts Chocolate House, Michael Potts said: “We understand the need to social distance to reduce the spread of this terrible virus, but we can’t wait to reopen fully and see all our regular customers again.”

“It breaks our hearts to see our stores empty.

“We have been overwhelmed with the response from our customers to just offering a delivery service and appreciate their support which will hopefully keep our business alive”.
