Where to buy your weekly groceries: Taka Taka Magic Roll
Posted on: 22 Apr 2020Taka Taka’s grocery service has proved a hit with fans of the fresh, fast food eatery.
Amid the nationwide lockdown, Bristol's independents have come up with smart ways to keep business booming.
Take Taka Taka: Bristol’s chain of Greek takeaway restaurants.
Alongside their usual takeaway options available to order via UberEats and Deliveroo, the chain is selling boxes of fresh groceries, available for contactless collection or next day delivery.
The initiative was launched last month, and they are offering a 10% discount for key workers.
Here’s everything you need to know.
What’s on offer
Taka Taka is selling fresh fruit and veg, meat, dairy and more. Fruit and veg is organic, and all meat is supplied by Bristol-based butchers.
Whilst some items can be purchased singularly, Taka Taka has also compiled fruit, veg and meat bundles.
Their basic veg box bundle, for instance, costs just a tenner, and includes weekly essentials; cherry tomatoes, red onions, garlic and more.
As well as that, they’re selling Sunday Roast and Date Night bundles, packed with everything you’d need to make the perfect meal.
