You can now order beer from The Gryphon, Bristol’s real ale and heavy metal pub

Posted on: 31 Mar 2020

Bristol’s adored real ale and heavy metal pub, The Gryphon, has announced it is now taking beer orders for local delivery.

Known for its strict real ale policy (strictly guests, no repeats), like many, The Gryphon is currently closed amid COVID-19.

However, the people of Bristol don’t have to go without The Gryphon entirely.

Yesterday, the pub announced via social media that they are now taking beer pre-orders, for delivery in the local area.

Beer packages, the post reads, aim to be delivered by the weekend.

The plentiful menu features beers from Scotland, Leeds and Norway, including the pub’s very own beer: RAINBOW IN THE DARK, priced at £6.66.

To see the full menu, visit the post on Facebook.

The proposed minimum order is £24, but the post encourages fans of the pub not to spend beyond their means.

Haven’t heard of The Gryphon? Where have you been?!

Last year, 365Bristol.com caught up with The Gryphon’s owner, John Ashby, to chat all things heavy metal and real ale. Check out the interview here.
