The Fleece provide update on opening hours

Posted on: 18 Mar 2020

18th March UPDATE: The Fleece owner Chris Sharp has confirmed the venue will be CLOSED until the end of April. Tickets for postponed gigs will be valid for rescheduled events, or refunds are available as an alternative. Head to The Fleece's website for more information and contact details.

The BS1 venue has suggested that club nights and local music showcases will continue running in the coming weeks.

As more and more venues close their doors and cancel events amidst the Coronavirus outbreak, it's becoming clear that uncertain futures lay ahead for businesses across the city.

Despite government advice, damage limitation has to be taken into account, and The Fleece have provided details on what's been postponed, and what, for now, will be going ahead.

Announcing the news on Facebook, The Fleece team confirmed that they will be remaining open for their regularly scheduled club nights and local music showcases.

Club Tropicana on Friday nights and Propaganda on Saturdays will continue running, starting at the earlier time of 21:00 due to the preceding gigs being postponed until further notice.

The Fleece's local band showcase will also take place as normal on Thursday nights, for those that can and are able to get down and show support for Bristol's live music scene.

On the contrary, most gigs and live performances at the venue have been postponed or cancelled, with updates coming daily. Ticket holders can find out more on The Fleece's website, or get in touch on 0117 945 0996 to discuss rescheduled events and ticket refunds.

More news and updates are being released daily, so be sure to keep an eye on The Fleece's Facebook page for any new information.
