Aqua Bristol to host exclusive San Marzano wine evening this month

The Welsh Back restaurant is offering up an evening of indulgence on Monday 4 February.

 

Bristol foodies have the opportunity to treat their tastebuds at Aqua this month, as a representative of the acclaimed Cantine San Marzano travels to the Welsh Back to guide diners through an unforgettable 5-course meal with wine pairings.

The incredible evening of food and wine appreciation will see several wines from the heart of Puglia, Italy paired with a specially-curated 5-course menu, prepared exclusively by Aqua chefs Liam Staddon and Kareem Vernon.

 

Courses include an amuse-bouche, roasted celeriac soup, Jerusalem artichoke ravioli, monkfish and prosciutto medallions, venison haunch with cherry & chocolate jus, and a watermelon parfait with creme anglais to finish. 

 

With the chefs on hand to introduce each dish, an expert from San Man Marzano introduce and break down the origins of five specially-selected wines, carefully chosen from the sought-after San Marzano stores.

 

Bookings for the evening are open now and available at £50 per person. We strongly recommend securing your place as soon as possible, as this one's sure to be a full house.
