10 unmissable parties in Bristol this month | February's Club Highlights

Expect huge sets this month from Mall Grab, Saiorse, Special Request and more.

 

Check out a quick guide to the biggest club events going down in Bristol between now and the end of the month, with a wide range of parties on the way hosted by some of Bristol's favourite promoters.

 

Absolute Body Control @ Cosies | Thursday 6 February

 

Renowned Bristol-based DJ Red Rack Em will be taking a Cosies crowd around the world this Thursday, delivering another night of genre-spanning sounds for the second edition of Absolute Body Control.

 

He'll be joined on the night by Worm Disco Club head Nathan Worm as well as up-and-coming DJ Saeph, bringing with them a heady mix of jazzy bangers, Italo classics and a few obscure cuts.

French Kiss pres. Saoirse @ The Loco Klub | Friday 7 February

 

Party supremo Saoirse will be taking over The Loco Klub from start to finish in this one, dishing out another unpredictable but technically faultless mix to another eager Bristol crowd.

 

House, techno, garage, electro, Saoirse has got it all in her collection, and the Irish-born, London-based DJ is certain to deliver a night to remember in the tunnels underneath Temple Meads Station.

Timedance: 5 Years @ Trinity Centre | Saturday 8 February

 

Bristol local Batu's celebrated Timedance label is turning 5 this year, and he's marking the occasion in style. The Timedance - 5 Years party series will travel across the UK and around the world in 2020, kicking off at Trinity Centre this weekend.

 

Headlined by none other than game-changing electronic artist Shackleton, expect killer sets from close friends of the label including Giant Swan, Metrist, Anina and, of course, Batu himself.

RUN have returned to Bristol from a huge run of sell-out shows around the world in 2019, back at their home-from-home this month for RUN 2020. 

 

They're kicking off a new decade the only way they know how, by bringing together some of the biggest and best artists from across the international drum & bass scene for one unmissable party at the city's biggest club venue.

Disco lovers rejoice: La Discotheque is back at Motion this month, returning with another star-studded lineup to get you grooving all night long on Saturday 15.

 

Headlined by none other than Jeremy Underground, who's enjoying something of a resurgence so far in 2020, don't miss sets from expert party starter Artwork, Manchester veteran Greg Wilson and more.

Mall Grab pres. Looking for Trouble @ Motion | Friday 21 February

 

All-conquering DJ Mall Grab is bringing his now-legendary Looking for Trouble party to Bristol once again this month, bringing with him a hand-picked lineup on Saturday 21.

 

Originally from Newcastle, Australia, Mall Grab's sound explores the roots of house and techno, and his own atmospheric productions have been dished out on dancefloors by DJs around the world in recent years.

 

Don't miss him in the Motion main room, backed up by fellow Aussie artists Loods and Logic1000, as well as fast-rising Swedish selector, Salary Boy.

Club Blanco x Love International @ The Black Swan | Friday 21 February

 

With the fifth edition of their Adriatic odyssey on the way this year, Team Love have teamed up with Club Blanco to bring none other than German selector Roman Flugel to The Black Swan on Friday 21 February.

 

With Motion and The Love Inn resident Ellie Stokes and a Dave Harvey/James Dyer b2b joining Flugel on the lineup, the energy is certain to be sky high from start to finish at this one.

Niceness w/Youandewan @ The Love Inn | Saturday 22 February

 

Acclaimed DJ and producer Youandewan will be in town this month for his first-ever Bristol set, serving up non-stop groovers during an extended four-hour set at The Love Inn.

 

With Colours head Louis Gray and Niceness resident Liam:m getting things up and running, we guarantee that this will be, at the very least, a very nice time.

Blasé pres. Bellaire @ Old Crown Courts | Friday 28 February

 

Parisian extraordinaire Bellaire is on his way to Bristol's Old Crown Courts in February, set to bring his trademark jazz-infused sound to the city and get you moving with his armoury of party starters.

 

Having turned his passion for music and Parisian street culture into a global phenomenon, Bellaire is truly one of the most unique producers on the electronic scene right now - do not miss this one.

Banoffee Pies pres. Voigtmann @ The Loco Klub | Saturday 29 February

 

Bristol-based Banoffee Pies Records and Headroom Festival have come together for their first party of the decade at the end of February, bringing increasingly in-demand DJ and producer Voigtmann to The Loco Klub.

 

The chance to party on 29 February only comes around once every four years, so why not make the most of the occasion and get loose in the company of one of Europe's most exciting electronic artists, as well as Banoffee Pies head DJ Autumn and Rhythm Sister's Jessica.
