Yesterday, the festival unveiled its second wave of acts, adding to an already impressive lineup of multi-instrumentalist Marika Hackman, indie-rock group Boy Azooga and post-punk revivalists Squid.

Among the second lineup announcement is British-Icelandic punk trio Dream Wife, London post-punks Warmduscher and Egyptian Blue, a post-punk quartet from Brighton.

Also joining Ritual Union’s first Bristol outing will be Los Bitchos, Lazarus Kane, PVA, GHUM, POZI, Milo's Planes, Norman, Swallow Cave, The Shuks, Happy Couple and Ruthie.

Ritual Union's first party in the city is giving homegrown talent a hefty spot on its lineup, alongside a rich selection of acts from beyond the Bristol music scene.

Some of the acts flying the flag for Bristol sound include Pet Shimmers, Wych Elm, Fenne Lily and the Bristol-grown Lynks Afrikka (who is now based in London).

Ritual Union is yet to announce its final wave of acts and details of its afterparty. Keep up to date on social media. The full Ritual Union lineup
