Karaoke with a twist is back on the menu at The Rising Sun in Windmill Hill on Saturday 18 January.

Back by popular demand, the first Bandaoke night of 2020 is coming up at The Rising Sun. The concept works the same as any other karaoke night, but instead of singing along to a tinny instrumental, you'll be backed on stage by a full live band.

Whether you fancy yourself as a singer or just want to sit back and enjoy the show, Bandaoke is The Rising Sun's most popular live music night, open to anyone who's brave enough to take the stage, regardless of ability.

With a huge selection of tracks to choose from, all you have to do is put your name on the list alongside your song choice and wait for your chance to share a stage with the pub's renowned in-house band. We highly recommend you get down early on the night - it's sure to get busy, and that list fills up fast.

Located on Alfred Road in the Windmill Hill area of Bristol, The Rising Sun is a stellar community pub, opened in early 2019. As well as running a firm favourite local pub, The Rising Sun team also host a wide range of events and invite live performers to the venue most evenings.

The pub's events schedule ranges from live music and comedy all the way through to creative workshops for kids, technology workshops for elderly locals, open mics and much more.
