Craig Charles set to bring Funk & Soul Christmas Special to Bristol's O2 Academy

No stranger to a Bristol stage, Craig Charles is bringing his far-reaching record collection back to the city this month for a Christmas edition of his much-loved Funk & Soul party.
Boasting an impressive lineup spread across three rooms at the O2 Academy, which includes Day Toner, Sir Funk and Bristol locals The Allergies, Craig Charles' Funk & Soul Christmas Party is sure to warm up your winter.
Running from 21:00 until the early hours of Sunday, expect a mix of undisputed funk & soul classics with some rarer and more obscure hidden gems as Charles brings his tried-and-tested collection to Bristol.
Having formerly gained notoriety as a presenter of Robot Wars, and through his roles on Red Dwarf and Coronation Street, Charles has found his calling as a radio DJ, hosting his weekly Funk & Soul Show on BBC 6 Music.
The slot has been such a success that he's been able to take it on the road, selling out clubs and venues across the country and playing several high-profile festival shows during the summer months.
