Sam Fender’s 2019 support act, Brooke Bentham, announces Bristol show

Posted on: 30 Nov 2019

Last year, Sam Fender shot to fame with his candid lyrical content and rousing guitar anthems.

And to end 2019, he’s enjoying a huge U.K. tour, after he bagged the Critics’ Choice Award at this year’s BRIT Awards. It’s no surprise, then, that his Bristol date has been long sold-out.

But not to worry, his support act and old friend, Brooke Bentham, is coming to Bristol next year, with her very own headline tour.

You can catch Brooke at The Crofters Rights on 17 March 2020. Tickets are on sale now.

A breakthrough singer-songwriter, Brooke Bentham combines observational lyricism with a fuzzy, guitar-led sound.

With her debut album, Everyday Nothing, due for release on 28 February, Bentham is becoming an essential act in her own right.

Up to now, she's released two EPs, which have earned the 23-year-old a strong following. As well as featuring on Sam Fender’s tour, she’s also provided support for Nashville's Soccer Mommy.

The new album, Bentham has said, "in part an ode to the little moments in life, the frustration of being young and unaware of what you want but getting older and realising you still don’t know."

After years spent gigging around Newcastle, it seems Bentham's journey into the mainstream is happening fast. So, stay ahead of the trend and catch her in Bristol next spring.
