Warm your winter with a Curry Cruise along the Avon River

Posted on: 11 Nov 2019

Number 7 Boat Trips are teaming up with Avon River Cruises to offer truly unique Bristol dining experiences through November and December.

From Thursday 7 November, Bristolians can enjoy a curry of their choice paired with a Butcombe Ale or glass of wine while taking in the beautiful sites of the city's floating harbour.

Inside one of Number 7 Boats' Bristol fleet.

Setting sail every Thursday until 19 December, the Curry Cruise will take passengers on an hour-and-a-half journey along the Avon River. Guests are encouraged to arrive at the departure point outside The Cottage Inn ten minutes before the cruise is due to set off.

Boats are due to depart from The Cottage Inn on Cumberland Road at 19:00, or you can wait for a later cruise and depart at 21:00 from The Ostrich on Lower Guinea Street.

Bristol's floating harbour and Harbourside are two of the city's most picturesque attractions. While both Number 7 and Avon River Trips run regular cruises to show visitors and residents the real beauty of Bristol, the chance to enjoy a top-notch meal alongside it is sure to make for a truly unique experience.

Priced at £25 per person, the cruise includes a delicious Chicken Masala or a warming sweet potato, spinach and chickpea veggie option with sides provided by The Cottage Inn. The Bristol-based Butcombe Brewery will be providing a range of ales to choose from to accompany the meal, with a selection of wines also available.

Further booking information can be found here, or you can contact the team directly on 0117 929 3659 to make a reservation.
