Lewis Capaldi’s 2019 support act Grace Carter announces Bristol show

America’s next sweetheart, 7 weeks at Number 1 in the U.K album charts – there’s nothing stopping Lewis Capaldi.

Unsurprisingly, tickets for the Scottish singer-songwriter’s U.K. dates are long gone.

Due to play his sold-out Bristol show on 26 November at the O2 Academy, the ‘Someone You Loved’ singer will be joined by budding pop superstar Grace Carter.

An essential act in her own right, Carter has since announced her own thread of headline shows for 2020. And luckily, she’s stopping off at Bristol's SWX on 24 March 2020.

So, what’s all the fuss about?

Last year, Carter burst into the mainstream with the Why Her Not Me EP. And since, the songwriter has stormed the international circuit; performing in Japan, Korea and Bali alongside festivals including Glasto and Jay-Z's Made in America.

Influenced by the likes of Lauryn Hill and Nina Simone, Carter’s keys-led sound brings out the very best in powerful pop ballads. Soaring vocals and gut-wrenching lyrics, her small but impressive catalogue blends soul, RnB and electronica. The perfect fit for Capaldi’s tour, right?

Carter’s latest belter ‘Fired Up’ was released earlier today, accompanying the announcement of her 2020 headline tour – the artist’s biggest to date.

She's hitting up the likes of Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow before her massive London show at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

So, why not stay ahead of the trend? Get tickets to see Grace Carter in Bristol. She'll start selling out venues like Lewis in no time, no doubt.

Tickets for Grace Carter's headline show at Bristol's SWX go on sale Friday 25 October at 10:00. Set your alarms!
