Bristol Apocalypse: everything you need to know

Bristol Apocalypse: everything you need to know

Posted on: 04 Sep 2019

The days of humankind are numbered, aren’t they? Let’s assume they are. Would you survive a Bristol Apocalypse? Find out this Halloween.

On Friday 1 November, join hordes of Bristol’s finest undead for the Bristol Apocalypse: a new interactive game perfect for the Halloween celebrations. Can you and your team find the antidote before falling foul to Bristol’s apocalyptic monsters?

Bristol Zombie Walk 2019

For this unique Halloween charity event, flaky-fleshed enthusiasts are invited to complete a zombie-fueled scavenger hunt around the city.

The mission? Find the antidote and arrive at the safe house unscathed by flesh-eating zombies in time for the #BRISTOLAPOCOLYPSE after-party.

The Stokes Croft Zombie Walk is in aid of Bristol-based women's charity Self-Injury Support.

The charity supports women struggling with self-harm and suicide, offering a safe place to talk. The charity lost their Comic Relief funding earlier this year.

Kicking off at a secret Gloucester Road quarantine zone, teams will be given a full game-play briefing and map to aid their spooky scavenger hunt. Prizes will be awarded to those with the best costumes and fastest completion times, of course!

Sounds good? Of course, it does. Here’s how to get involved.

The organisers have just 80 spots available as part of 8 to 10-person teams. Tickets cost £10 per person or get them for £8 each if you book your full team of 10 at once. The gory games begin every 15 minutes between 19:00 and 21:00. So when you book, choose a time slot and let the zombie overlords handle the rest.

So, what do you get for a tenner? Quite a lot, actually.

You’ll get a full briefing and game play; zombie make up for those infected during the match, a celebration drink at the safe house destination and free entry into the #BRISTOLAPOCOLYPSE after party. The after-party venue is yet to be announced, so keep an eye out for updates.

And don't worry if you're flying solo for this one: the organisers can pair you with a team. Just note your top 3 preferred time slots when booking. But be quick! Tickets are bound to fly out for this - the first 30 tickets have already been sold. Grab yours here.
