Festival Radar: Chandos Road Festival returns on Sunday 22 September 2019
Posted on: 28 Aug 2019The immensely popular Chandos Road Festival is making its eagerly-anticipated return next month; bringing live music, food, drinks and more to BS6.
The Chandos Neighbourhood Association is gearing up for its sixth Chandos Road Festival, running from 12:00 to 18:00 on Sunday 22nd September.
With several activities and a wide range of traders taking part; including live music spread across two stages, a puppet show for families and an array of food and drinks stalls offering up a huge variety of styles and flavours, this year's Chandos Road Festival is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever.
The street - located in the heart of Redland - has become something of a foodie hotspot in recent years, with several new restaurants electing to set up shop there rather than in Clifton or the city centre. Snobby's, for instance, is a recent addition to the Chandos family.
Popular eateries Otira, Wilks and Wilson's can all be found on Chandos Road, too, and they're all expected to be taking part in this year's festival.
Organised by the Chandos Traders Association and the Chandos Neighbourhood Association, the event is open to everyone and is completely free to attend. It'll run from midday to 18:00 with the last band taking the stage at 17:00.
