Following her triumphant run of UK shows in May 2019, American blues guitarist and singer-songwriter Samantha Fish will return in February and March 2020. The tour features a Bristol show at Trinity Centre on Saturday 7th March, with tickets on general sale from Friday 5th July. Set your alarms and get yours via the link below, they won't be around for long.
Coinciding with the release of her brand-new studio album, Kill Or Be Kind, on 20th September 2019, Fish's latest UK tour is set to introduce another wave of audiences to her incendiary, mesmerising live shows.
Recorded in Memphis, Tennessee, the new album was produced by three-time Grammy winner Scott Billington and mixed by two-time Grammy winner Steve Reynolds. Featuring eleven original tracks ranging from the electric stomp of 'Bulletproof' to the easy Memphis R&B style of 'Trying Not To Fall In Love With You', Kill Or Be Kind is sure to establish Fish as a major force in modern roots music.
Having kickstarted her recording career in 2009, Samantha Fish quickly established herself as a rising star in the contemporary blues world. Since then, the charismatic young artist has cemented her status as a powerful live performer, releasing a string of acclaimed albums and singles that have shown the world just how prolific she can be.
As for what the future holds, Fish is open to any direction her music may take her. "I'm never gonna be a traditional blues artist, because that's not who I am," she asserts, "but it's all the blues for me. When Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf came out, what they were doing didn't sound like anything that had been done in blues before. You've gotta keep that kind of fire and spirit."
As well as the Bristol show at the Trinity Centre on Saturday 7th March, Samantha Fish's 2020 UK tour will take her to Glasgow, Leeds, Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, London and Norwich before closing with a show at Brighton's Concorde.
Tickets for Samantha Fish live at Bristol's Trinity Centre on Saturday 7th March 2020 go on sale on Friday 5th July and can be found here. For more information or to follow tour updates, visit the official Samantha Fish website or check out her Facebook page.
