Popular Bristol waterside hotspot Buttermilk and Maple are presenting some of the very best in local musical talent with its ongoing series of Live Music Fridays.

Drew Bryant is next up at Buttermilk & Maple's Live Music Fridays.

The city, as we all know, is positively brimming with up-and-coming musicians (and creative talent of all kinds, for that matter), and the venue's Friday night events offers the perfect platform for them to show off their burgeoning sonic skills to an appreciative audience.

It doesn't matter whether you're in the early stages of your singing/songwriting/performing career or already have some experience of entertaining the crowds, everyone's welcome to pop along and demonstrate their musical prowess. Genre is immaterial too; whatever your style, variety is the musical spice of life  - which also makes it more interesting and unpredictable for the gathered Friday night folk too, as you never know what new act you might discover.

Buttermilk and Maple is a cosy cafe, bar and restaurant situated on Bristol's famous Welsh Back - and a stone's throw from many of the city's other top dining spots. They serve a fantastic range of food throughout the day, with an extensive menu starting with early buffet breakfasts to brunch, light lunches, afternoon teas and dinner, so no matter what time of day it is you know there's always something delicious waiting to satisfy for your grumbling tummy.

Alongside the terrific tucker is also a first-rate selection of drinks, ranging from teas and coffees to, if you prefer, something a little stronger with its excellent range of craft beers, gins, whiskeys and wines. Their cocktails are always popular too, and the helpful, welcoming staff are more than happy to guide you through their drinks list and even mix you up one of their lip-smackingly good in-house original cocktails.

With free wi-fi, a mezzanine and a fabulous outdoor seating area that you enjoy when the sun decides to come out, it really is the ideal spot to catch up with family, friends and colleagues (or even for just for a bit of 'you' time) for top-notch food, great drinks and chilled out, fun times. And with Bristol Hippodrome and Bristol Old Vic less than a five-minute stroll away, it's also the perfect place to enjoy a bit of pre-theatre dining.

A perfect location, delicious food, excellent drinks and good vibes all add up to make Buttermilk and Maple one of the best destination gastronomic venues in the city. For more information about the bar or to get in touch, visit their website or contact them via email or over the phone on 0117 301 8801. Buttermilk & Maple is located at 5-7 Welsh Back, Bristol BS1 4SP.
