Posted on: 23 May 2019

British icon Rod Stewart took over Ashton Gate Stadium last night for a huge arena show, kicking off a concert series that is still to welcome three more huge acts between now and mid-June. See below for all the info on Take That, Muse and the Spice Girls' visits to Bristol.

Take That at Ashton Gate Stadium.

Take That // Tuesday 28th May

Celebrating their 30th anniversary with a huge Greatest Hits live tour in 2019, legendary British band Take That are next up at Ashton Gate Stadium on Tuesday 28th May. Once one of the country's best-known musical acts and still adored by millions around the world, the band are responsible for several instantly-recognisable hits, including Back For Good, Relight My Fire and Rule The World. They'll be joined next week by none other than multi-million-selling singer Rick Astley.

Muse // Wednesday 5th June

Eclectic rock outfit Muse will be touching down in Bristol in early June as part of their Simulation Theory 2019 world tour. Formed in Devon in the mid-90s, the band have grown into one of the world's best-known acts over the years, releasing a steady stream of critically acclaimed albums including Black Holes and Revelations and The Resistance in 2006 and 2009 respectively. Their most recent release, last year's Simulation Theory, has formed the basis for the 2019 tour, which has seen them perform across North America and Canada already this year and will take them across Europe after their UK shows.

Spice Girls // Monday 10th June

Two decades after the Spice Girls revolutionised the 90’s pop landscape, the era-defining, history-making, best-selling female group of all time are bringing girl power back in full force as they reunite on stage at Ashton Gate Stadium, on Monday, June 10th, for the first time since the London 2012 Olympics. Returning with an almost-full lineup, missing only Victoria Beckham, the Spice Girls will be closing this year's Ashton Gate concert series with a huge show which will be sure to feature the group's biggest hits, including Wannabe, Stop and 2 Become 1. Support on the night will be provided by renowned British singer Jess Glynne.
