Cornish Wine Tasting Dinner at The Clifton Sausage on Thursday 23rd May 2019

Posted on: 21 May 2019

Ahhhh, you just can't beat a good, tasty sausage - especially when it's paired an excellent wine. And that's what that estimable emporium of fine tubular meats will be doing when it hosts its Cornish Wine Tasting Dinner on Thursday 23rd May 2019.

Owners of Polgoon winery, Kim and John, will relay the fascinating story of how they became winemakers and all the blood, sweat and tears (though perhaps not literally) it takes to create some of their very finest wines. They're so quaffable and well-respected, in fact, they've just a nabbed prestigious gold medal for their sauvignon blanc.

The delicious double-act will be complimented with a special menu prepared by The Clifton Sausage, a restaurant in the heart of Clifton Village and with a culinary roster that focuses on supremely made British fare as well as, of course, their dedication to the humble sausage in all its glorious forms.

This marvelous wine and food feast starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £55 per person.  You can reserve your place by calling The Clifton Sausage on 0117 973 1192 or emailing them at info@cliftonsausage.co.uk.  A vegetarian menu will be available and let them know if you have any special dietary requirements.
