The explosive Asian Dub Foundation are playing a show at Bristol’s Trinity Centre on Friday 17th May. With special guests TBA, the line-up promises to be their strongest yet.

Famous for their unique style which combines hip hop, punk, reggae, bhangra and electronica, their sound is known for its dub-inspired basslines, sitar guitar chords and fast flows.

Formed in 1993, the band saw a continuation and evolution of their movement, gaining a huge following in Europe. The support of Primal Scream raised their profile in the UK, and the two bands would tour together regularly. In the years that followed, ADF have released 8 studio albums, delivered live soundtracks, tackled operas, toured worldwide and played at many festivals including Glastonbury. Known for their widely political activism, ADF have supported a multitude of worldwide issues through their music, and still continue to do so.
