A top trio of rib-ticklers will take to the stage of The Cheese Comedy Club in Bristol on Sunday 21st April 2019, showcasing some of the very best talent currently touring the comedy circuit.

Situated in the basement of that veritable Bristol drinking institution The Crown, The Cheese Comedy Club is certainly a unique venue when it comes to disseminating the laughs, offering intimate nights out in the company of some of the country's finest chuckle-meisters.

With low arched ceilings in a pub dating back to 1741 and giving an up-close-and-personal vibe with the performers, it's a brilliant spot for a few well-deserved laughs. And to drag you away from a day of incessant choc chomping, they're putting on a right roistering trio of funny folk to keep you entertained on Easter Sunday.

Joe Sutherland's skilful blend of dark and cheeky comedy has audiences in the palm of his hand. Topics covered with witty pluck and aplomb include veganism, gender, masculinity, social issues and, erm, bogies. His show Toxic was voted one of the top ten at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe and by the time you catch him in Bristol, he'll have already spread the giggles at London's Soho Theatre.

Jenny Collier's natural delivery adopts a more storytelling persona, proffering a captivating combo of funny and relatable tales often deconstructing the madness and chaos of a crazy life lived in London. Accolades include winning the Laughing Horse New Act Competition 2014 and finalist of Hobgoblin Comedy Competition 2014.

Completing the triptych will be Joe Jacobs, a national and international mirth merchant who has shared the stage with likes of Stewart Lee, Bill Burr and Mr Motivator. Effortlessly hop-scotching between comedy and hip hop, his credits includes appearances on Channel 4, BBC Radio 4, BBC 6 Music, plus millions of online viral views.

Doors for this full-on feast of side-splitting fun open at 7pm, with seating at 7.45pm an 8pm start. There will be two intervals, with the show expected to end between 10pm and 10.30pm. Tickets cost £8 and can be snapped up here. The Cheese Comedy Club is located at The Crown, 10 All Saints Lane, Bristol BS1 1JH.
