Superhero arts and crafts for kids this Easter at The Galleries in Bristol
Posted on: 29 Mar 2019Get your cape on! Calling all mini superhero’s: The Galleries has got an impressive selection of hero-themed meet-ups and workshops happening between 8 April and 12 April.
Need to get a bit of last-minute Easter shopping done this holiday? Got the kids with you? The Galleries has got it covered. Let’s dive in.
First off, Iron Man will be ready to meet and greet young shoppers and their families on Monday 8 April. Then, on 10 April, little ones can marvel at the arrival of Wonder Woman. To finish up the week, Spider-Man will be swinging by to hang out with young fans on Friday 12 April: it’s a jam-packed week of Marvel celebs, that’s for sure!
Alongside the meet and greets, The Galleries’ very own FREE kids’ club - Brizzle Kidz Clubhouse – will be hosting a range of artsy workshops on the ground floor to keep the little shoppers amused for (much) longer than the usual five minutes. We’re talking cape-making, comic-strip curation and more. We’ll pop the details of each workshop below.

Superhero Cape Making

The little Galleries shoppers will be making their very own superhero capes to kick start the path to becoming a hero.
All Masked Up!
Tuesday 9 April – 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
A vital part of every superheroes costume is their mask to cloak their true identity from the baddies of Bristol.
Super Snacks
Wednesday 10 April | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Every hero needs to stay energised with special super snacks! The little heroes will be decorating their very own superhero cookies to take away (or scoff for super strength straight away!)
Comic Strip Creation
Thursday 11 April | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Superheroes and comic strips go together like Spider-Man and his web so little writers will be set the challenge of channelling their inner Stan Lee to create their own comic book strip.
Super Shields & Cuffs
Friday 12 April |11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Time to channel the little heroes Wonder Women and Captain America as they make their very own super shields and cuffs just like their favourite heroes!
