After Hours: LOVE at We The Curious on Thursday 14th February 2019Posted on: 04 Feb 2019
Love. It's a funny ol' thing, isn't it? So how about an evening pondering over this most curious of emotions at, appropriately enough, We The Curious for its After Hours: LOVE event on the day of schmaltzy cards and overpriced meal deals itself, Thursday 14th February 2019.
Celebrating and pondering over what love means in all its confounded, confusing, irrational, brilliant, joyous and ultimately perplexing glory, you'll get to wander and play with more than 250 interactive exhibits that take a closer look at the workings of the world.
Take a literal journey through an actual heart and mull over your relationship with your own pulsing, beating organ, then whizz through the solar system and the stars in the Planetarium for the mesmerizing, transcendent Winter Stargazing 3D.
A time to ruminate, engage, challenge and revel on the bemusing, beautiful ramifications of this most bewildering of emotions, DJs will be on hand to provide the (presumably romantic) soundtrack for the evening and there will be plenty of food and bars for libations and sustenance.
Cupid will be firing his amorous arrow from 6pm until 10pm. Tickets cost £8.95 (£7.95 concessions and for members); Planetarium show is an extra £3.50, and can be purchased here.
We The Curious is located at Anchor Road, Harbourside, Bristol, BS1 5DB. Tel. 0117 915 1000
