Exclusive Q&A's

A Private War & satellite Q&A with cast | Monday 4 February, 18:45

A Private War explores a world where journalism is under attack, driving fearless screen protagonist Marie Colvin (Rosamund Pike) to the frontlines of conflicts across the globe to give voice to the voiceless, while continually testing the limits between bravery and bravado. Her personal life soon begins to unravel in the face of post-war trauma.

This special screening includes a pre-filmed Q&A with the cast: a time no better to involve yourself with the discussion around the crucial issues raised in this impressive film.

The Ponds (Still Waters Run Deep) + Live Q&A (12A) | Thursday 28th February, 18:00

In London, the world’s flux and chaos know no end. But in its middle of the city lies Hampstead Heath, 320 hectares of untouched forest and parkland alongside three swimming ponds. Co-directors Patrick McLennan and Samuel Smith filmed the swimmers over 12 months as they laughed, sang, complained, ruminated, or sought merely a respite from all that life threw at them.

You can join the two documentary makers at the Everyman Cinema in Bristol to discuss the film’s creation. How lovely!
