Rising jazz group Elftet will play at Future Inn in Bristol as part of the venue's ongoing series of popular jazz nights on Thursday 20th September 2018.

Formed in 2015 by vibraphone player Jonathan Mansfield, the group has gained considerable popularity and a loyal fanbase, having already toured extensively around the UK and made appearances on BBC Radio 3 and New York station WBGO.

Their original compositions are influenced by the musical likes of Vince Mendoza, Marius Neset, Ravel and songwriters such as Norah Jones and James Taylor. This month they're recording at Real World Studios with vibraphone virtuoso Jim Hart on producing duties for a line-up that will feature some of the most talented and exciting UK-based musicians around.

Having already clocked on the radar of the UK's most popular, multi award-winning magazine Jazzwise as a group 'to look out for in 2018' - twice, no less - this is a great chance to catch one of the most talented, up-and-coming jazz ensembles currently on the UK gig circuit.

The cool jazz vibes will kick off from 8.30pm. Tickets cost £12 (£7 students). You can find out more and book tickets here.

Jazz at Future Inn is located at Future Inn, Bond Street South, Bristol, BS1 3EN. Tel. 0117 304 1010
