Summer Social at Bloc Climbing on Sunday 22nd July
Posted on: 15 Jun 2018Bloc Climbing are the biggest bouldering centre in Bristol and offer a range of climbing experiences for people of all ages. If you’re looking for a way to get into the sport, or perhaps if you’re a seasoned pro wanting a little fun, head to their Summer Social which is taking place on Sunday 22nd July 2018.
The day will start when the centre opens at 10am, with coaching and demos from 11am onwards. The coaches will be running free inductions, leaps of faith (eek), helpful route setting workshops and a sports clinic.
Bloc are a great place to go for a day out, no matter what your age or climbing ability. From beginners to experienced climbers, everyone is welcome to come, give it a go and learn lots of new skills. As well as their adult sessions, they have a range of children’s packages to suit all ages. For 4 and 5 year olds who aren’t yet old enough to join in with the bouldering courses, Bloc’s ‘Clip 'n Climb’ sessions give parents the fantastic opportunity to climb with their kids.
The perfect place for a school trip or group outing, sessions at Bloc build confidence, team-work and self esteem. They offer both daytime and evening sessions, and have plenty of space for you to relax if you feel you need a break or a drink.
So head to Bloc on 22nd July to get involved and have some summer fun whilst staying active!
Bloc Climbing are based at 2 New Gatton Rd, Bristol, BS2 9SH.
All of their coaches are accredited by the Climbing Wall Association or the Single Pitch Award, or are assessed by in-house instructor and technical advisor.

Monday - Friday: Noon until 10pm
Saturday - Sunday: 10am until 6pm
Bank Holidays: 10am until 8pm
