Jazz at Future Inn Bristol: John Pearce on Thursday 24th May 2018Posted on: 23 May 2018
Bristol-born violin-playing jazz maestro John Pearce will perform at Future Inn in Bristol on Thursday 24th May 2018.
Forming part of the venue's regular Jazz at Future Inn nights, Pearce started cutting his teeth on the string instrument at the tender age of seven. His career has flourished impressively since then and he's performed at venues all over the world including concert halls in Austria, Japan, the Czech Republic and Denmark, as well as the not-to-be-sniffed at likes of St Martin in the Fields and that colossus of music-making, the Royal Albert Hall.
Regularly performing as a soloist on radio and television, his career has gone stratospheric over recent years and he's also wowed the crowds with his virtuosity at the Bath Festival, Guinness Cork Jazz Festival and Cheltenham Music Festival.
You can listen to the jazz-infused musical musings of this rising star when he takes to the stage of Future Inn from 8pm. Tickets cost £7 for adults and £5 for students.

Jamie is a writer, blogger, journalist, critic, film fan, soundtrack nerd and all-round Bristolian good egg. He loves the music of Philip Glass, the art of Salvador Dali, the writings of Charles Bukowksi and Hunter S Thompson, the irreverence of Harry Hill, and the timeless, straw-chomping exuberance of The Wurzels. You can sometimes find him railing against a surging tide of passing cyclists, or gorging himself senseless on the Oriental delights of a Cosmos all-you-can-eat buffet.
