Enjoy fantastic Jurassic fun at Bristol's Galleries shopping centre this Easter!
Posted on: 23 Mar 2018The Galleries Shopping Centre is proud to welcome families through the doors this Easter break, with three days of FREE prehistoric fun from Tuesday 27th-Thursday 29th March 2018! Activities and attractions include a huge animatronic T-Rex and a fun and immersive sessions led by Dino School, as well as a few hints and secret prehistoric bits located around the centre!
Events will take place from 11am-4pm across the three days, launching with the appearance of an amazing, fully animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex inside the shopping centre! Guests have the chance to meet the T-Rex as he stomps around the building, stopping for pictures at intervals throughout the day on Tuesday 27th March. Lucky guests will even get the chance to get up close and personal with the menacing beast as they go about their visit to The Galleries!
As well as that, kids can learn unbelievable facts about our prehistoric friends, in a fun and immersive session led by the Dino School's friendly dinosaur experts! Little adventurers will be invited to dig up the giant Dino Dig Sandpit to uncover hidden fossil buried beneath the surface. The final stage of their Dino Training will be the biggest and most exciting test of their Dino-tracking skills, as they hunt for dinosaurs around The Galleries! Prizes are up for grabs for the best explorers when they complete their mission.
Aside from the great activities on offer, visitors can expect to see The Galleries transformed for the event, with an area fully dedicated to the prehistoric theme, adorned with foliage, Jurassic Park-style signage and props to complete a wonderfully engaging experience.
Colin Lang, Centre Manager at The Galleries, says, “We’re really looking forward to hosting this very exciting and totally immersive event. The dinosaur theme is one that appeals to all ages, so we hope that the whole family will be entertained.”
