Some fantastic winners at the Broadmead BID Retailer Awards 2017

Posted on: 02 May 2017

Throughout March 2017 a mystery shopping exercise was conducted, designed to recognise excellent customer service in The Broadmead shopping area. On Tuesday 25th April, at Brasserie Blanc in Quakers Friars, the Lord Mayor of Bristol, Cllr Jeff Lovell, was there to congratulate the highest performers and runners up in several categories. It is no shock to us at some of the amazing shops included on the list.

Broadmead BID Retailer Awards 2017

Broadmead BID aims to maximise the appeal and advantages of shopping at the heart of Bristol. It is shaped in response to the current tough trading environment and the impact of Internet shopping on city centre retailing.

The mystery shopping project was run by Storecheckers, who have built up a reputation for providing top quality mystery shopping, market research and training based on building long term relationships with clients who have increased sales and profits by continually improving customer service.

Nine of the winners achieved perfect scores and everyone was particularly proud of the independent retailers who took home six of the 13 trophies.
