We have a female Prime Minister, while a Republican celebrity sits in the Whitehouse. Economic instability. Marches, demonstrations and political discontent. And what about that whole drama with the wall?
Sound familiar? It's New Year's Eve 1989 and we're about to break into inarguably the best decade in living memory. Fast-forward 27 years and Ramshackle are hosting the ultimate throwback by throwing a '90s-themed NYE party.
Share hopes for a better future whilst revelling in memories of this happy past, a simpler time of Fresh Princes and tamagotchis, Britpop and bucket hats. Contemporary fancy dress is heartily encouraged, while the accompanying soundtrack at the O2 Academy will be suitably tailored to the theme.
