Jason Donovan will finally get the chance to visit Jason Donervan, the mobile kebab shop on the Triangle named in homage to him, when he performs in Bristol at the end of next month in the production of Million Quartet. He will reprise the role of legendary rock 'n' roll producer Sam Phillips in the musical retelling of the episode in which he brought together the soon-to-be legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.

The production, which also stars Martin Kaye, Robbie Durham, Ross William Wild and Matt Wycliffe, has already won a Tony award and achieved success in the West End before it embarks on this, its first UK tour.
Don't miss your chance to be a fly on the wall of musical history when it stops in Bristol for the week beginning Monday 28th November. For more information on the show, click here.

An ardent Geordie minus the accent, Sam seemingly strove to get as far away from the Toon as possible, as soon as university beckoned. Three undergraduate years at UoB were more than ample time for Bristol (as it inevitably does) to get under his skin, and so here he remains: reporting, as Assistant Editor, on the cultural happenings which so infatuated him with the city.
