Clifton Wine Bar - What's On
Posted on: 11 Feb 2016Set behind a rather unassuming facade is a place that serves up some of the best food around plus, as you would imagine, some pretty great drinks. Clifton Wine Bar is one of those ‘must-visit’ places in Bristol. Don’t let the name fool you, there are no Del Boy wannabes propping up the bar in here.

The location is prime, set just back from Clifton Triangle, yet the outside décor is unassuming. This is a place many can and might well have walked past. But it’s to their detriment. Clifton Wine Bar is one of Bristol’s best restaurants and pubs.
The food is the real triumph here. Classic, homemade pub food is served daily. The pies, burgers, rib-eye steak and Sunday lunches are extremely popular...and there’s plenty more besides. The main menu and Sunday menu are both packed full of tempting offerings.

The NYC Burger
There are some great offers too!
Monday: 2-4-1 on their gourmet pies
Tuesday: 2-4-1 on the excellent handmade burgers
Wednesday: 2 rib-eye steaks for only £15
Friday 5:30-7:30pm and Saturday 6-8pm: Just £2 for a glass of Prosecco
From 7pm on the first Thursday of every month it’s open mic night. Kicking off at 7pm it’s open to all!
This dog-friendly pub and restaurant is always a great option any time. They have a number of TVs showing BT sport and, of course, the Six Nations. There’s plenty going on so just head over to their website at www.cliftonwinebar.co.uk, their Facebook page or Twitter to find out more and keep up to date.
Clifton Wine Bar is located at: 3-5 Richmond Terrace, Queens Road, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 1AB
