Sleeping Beauty at The Old Vic, Friday 27th November – Sunday 17th January. For booking and information click here.

Sally Cookson has devised an incredible, spellbinding new edition of the classic fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty. This modern twist brings the old tale well up to date in an engaging and exciting way. The Old Vic have long been the producers of the most inventive and unique Christmas pantomimes and musical theatre, and Sally Cookson’s new production is alive with theatrical chemistry and energy. Watch as a Prince doomed to prick his finger and sleep for 100 years is stumbled upon by a girl on a quest to save her family and friends… not exactly a love story, but one of hilarious adventure, magic, and mayhem.

The Wind in the Willows at The Redgrave Theatre, Friday 27th November - Thursday 17th December. For booking and information click here.

Follow the escapades of the exuberant Toad, and his long suffering friends Ratty, Mole and Badger, as Kenneth Grahame’s masterpiece comes to life before your very eyes. Told through a combination of dance, song, theatre, and puppetry; the lazy days of the riverbank, speeding car chases and a jail break are expressed in vivid detail. This show is the perfect festive treat for all the family.

The Light Princess at The Tobacco Factory Theatre, Thursday 26th November - Sunday 10th January. For booking and information click here.

Last year’s incredible production of 101 Dalmatians blew anyone who saw it away, receiving in the process a raft of overwhelmingly positive reviews. For quirky, unusual, beautifully designed Christmas plays, Bristol knows it can rely on the Tobacco Factory Theatre.

This year brings us The Light Princess, a bewitching fairy tale that is bought to life with imaginative set design, immersive theatrical magic, and a beautiful original score. The princess that lives in a kingdom far away is strikingly different from any you will have come across… she has no gravity! Floating and flying around all day isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, however, and the princess suffers from her life locked in her castle with no freedom and no chance to meet true love.

Living Spit’s A Christmas Carol at the Tobacco Factory's Brewery Theatre, Saturday 19th December – Sunday 3rd January. For booking and information click here.

Hard hearted Ebenezer Scrooge is played by Howard Coggins in this ridiculous, hilarious, and energetic performance of one of the best loved festive stories of all time. We all know the story, three ghosts visit Scrooge one Christmas Eve and turn his miserly ways upside down ending in a beautiful Christmas Day… But seeing Howard’s performance is something unlike any you have seen before. Alongside him, Stu Mcloughlin plays ALL the other parts, with some incredible dress-up, singing, dancing, and tomfoolery. Come along for silly songs, pitiful puppetry and Dickensian daftness at this feast of festive foolery!

Kid Carpet's Noisy Nativity at the Tobacco Factory's Brewery Theatre, Wednesday 2nd December - Sunday 3rd January. For booking and information click here.

Kid Carpet returns to his adoring Bristol crowd to give a radically remixed version of the traditional Christmas story. His big beat songs, live special effects, puppetry, wonky carols, and animation will set this performance well apart from any you have ever seen!

Follow this ridiculous journey of festive silliness, as Kid Carpet relies on the Noisy Animals next door to help him put on the local Christmas Nativity. Will the Christmas story ever be the same again and more importantly, where can we get 6 million silk tinsel headbands, 150 anti-gravity snowballs, and 4 supersonic space reindeer? Uproariously funny and full of mischief and mayhem, this show is perfect for little ones who want something engaging to watch this Christmas.

Jack and the Beanstalk at Theatre Royal in Bath, Thursday 10th December – Sunday 10th January. For booking and information click here.

Jack Trott is the hero of this tale, with a Christmas panto that is full of beans! Another star studded performance from Bath’s biggest theatre, Fleshcreep the giant will be played by BAFTA nominated Nigel Havers, CBeebies’ Katy Ashworth will play the Forest Fairy, and Simple Simon will be played by Jon Monie who is a firm favourite at Bath pantomimes. Alongside this, dancers from the Dorothy Coleborn School Of Dance will be performing their incredible skills onstage. The whole production is complimented by lavish costumes and sumptuous sets and promises to be another spectacular success from producers UK Productions...don't miss it!
