Posted on: 20 Mar 2015Bristol (City's) football fans are in for a thrilling, historic match when Bristol City competes with Walsall at Wembley this Sunday 22 March 2015 in the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Kick-off is 3.30pm and will see the Bristol City and Walsall compete in the first all-League 1 Football League Trophy final in four years.
The Johnstone's Paint Trophy marks the second Football League event at Wembley this season after the Capital One Cup Final at the beginning of March, and will see Bristol City face Walsall with the Saddlers in their first Wembley appearance in their 127 year history. Kick-off is 3.30pm and Bristol City are slight favourites with the bookies at 1-2 on. Their previous fixture this season at Walsall's Banks's Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw after Romaine Sawyers knocked in a late equaliser for the home side after Joe Bryan's 11th minute City opener.
Although ticket sales have been completed with more than 39,600 tickets sold, an official announcement from Wembley confirmed that tickets will still be available on the day.
