Only 2 more weekends of shopping before Christmas! Here is a selection of some of the Christmas markets that are open if you are looking for some great and unique presents for loved ones this year - or ideas for Secret Santa that no one else is likely to have picked up!
Market at the Moon
Market at the Moon is a weekly market held every Saturday and Sunday from Noon until 6pm throughout December in Stokes Croft, Bristol. Just head over to the space between The Full Moon and Attic Bar. The number of stalls has been steadily increasing in the run up to Xmas so make sure to pop along and see some terrific independent vendors including Mr Tea's Teas selling ethically sourced teas, honey and cakes as well as a large and diverse range of other independent vendors. German Christmas Market
The 6th German Christmas Market in Broadmead runs until the 22 December 2014, open Monday to Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 10am-6pm.
Festive decorations adorn the 38 traditional chalets which, along with a giant advent calendar, beer gardens and the ever-popular Christmas Nativity Pyramid, combine to create a festive atmosphere at Bristol’s hub of Christmas shopping. This year's entertainer is Bavarian style musician, Der Alpen Klaus. Klaus is known for his entertaining at the Munich Beer festival and similar events all over the country, bringing his own traditional twist to popular songs. For the Xmas market he will deliver a lot of Xmas style music on top of his repertoire with consists of over 500 titles.
Visitors to the market will find traditional German Christmas decorations, lights, nativity scenes and gifts, including wooden toys, baskets, soaps, lamps and amber jewellery. Delicious festive food and drink is on offer including the now famous gluhvein, bratwurst, waffles, liquorice, stollen cake, gingerbread hearts and candied fruit.
Christmas Fair at The Eastfield Inn
A Christmas Market and Fair will be held at The Eastfield Inn in Henleaze on Tuesday 9 December 2014 from 7pm until 9.30pm. Entry to the fair is free and you'll see lots of arts, crafts and unique gifts that you won't be able to find on the High Street. Harbourside Christmas Market
The Harbourside Market is very excited to be working in collaboration with At-Bristol to bring a brand new Christmas market to Millennium Square, running alongside the At-Bristol Ice Rink.
Shopping and skating, it’s the perfect festive combination! Whether waiting to skate or just watching skaters whiz round the Rink, there is plenty to keep you entertained. You can browse the stalls selling gorgeous gifts, crafts and treats or grab a delicious bite to eat from one of our food stalls. On Saturdays and Sundays listen out for our brass band and carol singers – the perfect backdrop as you shop.
After your shopping or ice skating head to Spitfire Barbecue, The Stable or Slug and Lettuce Bristol Harbourside for some warm food and drinks.
Christmas Fair at Racks in Clifton

Bath Christmas Market
One of the most popular events in the UK, Bath Christmas Markets is the biggest 18-day Christmas shopping extravaganza in the South West. More than 170 gorgeously decorated rustic wooden chalets line the streets of Bath from Thursday 27th November – Sunday 14th December. Each chalet encases a high-quality artisan business, 70% of which come from Bath and surrounding areas. The products this year include handmade Christmas decorations, personalised gifts, festive food and drink, handmade toys, local artwork and beautiful jewellery.
