Do you qualify for a free home eye test in Bristol

Did you know you might qualify for a free NHS home eye test in Bristol if you are unable to visit an optician unaccompanied and match any of the following criteria: 

 

1. Aged 60 or over.

2. Registered blind or partially sighted.

3. Diagnosed with diabetes or glaucoma.

4. Considered to be at risk of glaucoma, as advised by an optician.

5. Aged 40 or over and your mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter has been diagnosed with glaucoma.

6. Receiving benefit (Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance or Pension Credit Guarantee Credit).

7. Entitled to, or named on, a valid NHS tax credit exemption certificate.

8. On a low income and named on a valid HC2 (full help) or HC3 (partial help) certificate.

9. Eligible for an NHS Complex Lens Voucher (our optician will advise on the entitlement)
