This is by far the best barbering experience I?ve had. Jacks is a welcome addition to Bristol.
Jacks of London’s Bristol store opened almost two years ago and they have revolutionised barbering in the city. In here there is everything you could want, and you’ll be forgiven for mistaking its waiting room for a luxury bachelor pad.
Jacks are situated on Penn Street in the centre of Bristol, and you do not need appointments. Friendly staff that will offer you a cold beer, tea, coffee, or a soft drink will greet you. Waiting here is certainly no chore: there’s free Wi-Fi, a decent variety of newspapers, magazines, and Sky Sports is constantly rolling. A nice feature (if waiting really isn’t your thing), is Jacks’ Queue Cam, which you can find on their website at www.Jacksoflondon.com to see how busy they are.
Students are offered 20% off every Monday to Wednesday; just take in your student ID. They also run a corporate discount scheme for any company that submit 5 employee names, which means 20% off for an unlimited amount of employees who take in ID to show that they work for the registered business.
The service at Jacks was impressive. I asked to see a specific barber, who helpfully explained each step of my haircut and gave me some great advice on which products I should use to best manage my hair type. This is by far the best barbering experience I’ve had. Jacks is a welcome addition to Bristol.
5/5 for Jacks of London - A student's dream barber
